Yes. That's pretty stupid. I'll end the game at the end when I've driven new sloops every day and can't even own the ship in a game that supposedly revolves around them. So far the game encourages me to just live somewhere on land and that a boat is pointless ..... Then they have schooners and brig and all ... the expiration rates are worse and the majority of your players will never be able to afford those ships. Even if we could only afford ONE schooner for the majority in our Atlas lives, we know it is a waste of gold because it is dumped in a free port in one day or on a lawless or PvP island in one day. So in a game that revolves around the ocean and the boats ..... you get what I'm talking about ..... Kill a seagull at a free port, get yourself full clothes and like 30 steaks ....

I have just started playing this game since Epic gave it away and aside from the obvious constant threats to your life, while all survival games are ongoing; I find the hardest thing about this game is that wherever you go (especially in the simple spawns) there is no place to start building an animal shelter. The last 4 times I logged in, I couldn't build a hideaway / sleeping bag / campfire anywhere because there are too many other player structures. When it gets dark I still can't find anything and am attacked by various dinosaurs and lose all the handmade stuff I had, all the materials and STILL cold and in the dark.

It gets a little frustrating after the 3rd or 4th time.
