Also der PS4 Controller kann auch ohne weitere Software verwendet werden, er wird im Spiel meist als xbox Controller angesehen (die Software ist nur dazu da das Layout der Tastebelegung anzupassen - soweit ich das verstanden habe)
Inwiefern aber die Controller Unterstützung in Ark am PC vorhanden ist kann ich nicht sagen (meine mich zu erinnern, das dies wohl noch eingebaut werden soll / muss - irgendein crunch - kann also schon erledigt sein)
Es gibt eine Lore - darauf sollen die Notizen hinweisen, Details werden wohl aber erst zu Release kommen (soweit ich mich an die Crunch Meldungen dazu erinnere).
Mal sehen was da kommt, bis dahin mache ich meine eigene Lore 
Dann würde ich empfehlen ARK zu deinstallieren und neu zu installieren (mindestens aber: Lokale Dateien prüfen via Steam) und eventuell beim Grafiktreiber ebenfalls auf Updates prüfen (es könnte wohl auch helfen eine ältere Treiberversion zu verwenden falls hier in den letzten Tagen ein Update kam).
Hast Du sonst eine Änderung am System vorgenommen?
Es gibt auch eine Mod welche im Auswahlmenu anzeigt welches Kibble verwendet werden soll für diesen Dino (vermutlich auch mit Rezeptur).
Ich nutze auch die Paintings von Xar 
ich persönlich kann das nicht bestätigen! Für mich ist ARK seit dem Update erst wieder richtig spielbar (low Einstellungen GTX 765m -leider ohne sli seitens ark).
Habe es aber schon von anderren gehört, die am anderen Ende der Einstellungen spielen das es hier zu Laggs kommt in neuen Interface beim Transferieren z.b. aber nicht dauerhaft.
Als Test würde ich nicht einen Map Ordner verwenden, da dort auch die normalen Character Daten liegen - das könnte zu Problemen kommen.
Ein Beispiel Pfad:
arkopt_ClusterDirOverride=/home/x/Daten/steamserver/arkdedicated/Cluster
Den Ordner zur Sicherheit vorher per FTP / ssh anlegen.
Ich denke damit könnte das Problem gelöst werden.
Warum Laptop? z.B. Du bist beruflich viel unterwegs und möchstest Abends im Hotel dennoch spielen, oder die Woche über in Stadt (oder Land) A am Wochenende bei der Familie zuhause in Stadt B, oder oder gibt viele Möglcihkeiten bei denen ein 'Laptop' von Vorteil ist.
Ich kann die XMG von Schenker empfehlen, habe selbst einen und bin sehr zufrieden (i7-4800MQ 16 GB Ram, 250 GB SSD, 1 TB HDD, 2x GTX 760m [leider wird nur eine Karte von Ark genutzt]) - Die Akkulaufzeit ging natürlich innerhalb von Wochen gegen Null aber ist eben eine Mobile Gamestation - die haben aktuell ein paar Restposten im Angebot - via Thunderbolt kann man ja auch bessere Grafikkarten anschließen wenn man möchte (gibt verschiedene Systeme dazu), deshalb nicht darauf verzichten falls möglich!
Du kannst bei gPortal bei jedem Start eine andere Karte laden wenn Du willst - dazu wird kein 2. Server benötigt. es könnte sogar klappen, das 2 Karten Platz finden

wie kann ich dem Ichthyornis sagen, dass er jagen gehen soll?
Bei "Hunt and Retrive" oder nur "Hunt" passiert nichts
Bein Hunt and retrive auf die Schulter setzen und in der Nähe von Fischen (oder Kleingetier) zweimal F drücken und schon holt der den Fisch / Kleingetier mit den verbesserten Ressourcen (prme)

Du kannst die Map wechseln, im 'Dashboard' kannst Du die Karte auswählen (eventuell die Karte immer mal wieder per FTP sichern vor nem Wechsel
Damit die Server die Items / Chars / Dinos übertragen können, müssen sie einen Ordner im System haben um die Daten abzulegen
Du hast pro Server eine arkmanager .cfg Datei in beiden Dateien muss die Zeile:
arkopt_ClusterDirOverride=/home/steam/clusterdata
eingetragen sein, der Ordner muss erstellt sein.
Dann sollte es eigentlich klappen

in den Instanz .cfg's ist das Verzeichnis für den Austausch gleich und der Ark User hat die schreibrechte dafür?

?? Durch das Osterevent, oder durch das Evolution Event welches aktiv ist? Auf der PS4, wird das Event erst mit dem nächsten Patch gestartet (Ende April).
Das Osterevent hat keine Erhöhung von irgendwelchen Raten dabei, dafür ist aber das Evolution Event aktiv

Vor 6 Stunden hats noch funktioniert - ist nicht in den Optionen zu finden (nur im Interface zu nutzen)
wie soll man das verstehen ?Soll heißen das das öfter Event erst in 2 Wochen los geht ?
Bei den Konsolen ist das 'normal', vermutlich schafft es WC nicht die Events rechtzeitig (2 Wochen habe ich mal gelesen) zum prüfen einzureichen

Noch gibt es keine Infos für ein Oster Event (einer von WC hat was getwittert, das es eben noch keine Ausage dazu gab und sollte sich das nicht ändern wird es kein Oster Event gibt).
Ich vermute das hängt mit an den Consolen, da die Event's dort nicht rechtzeitig gestartet werden, da WC die patches nicht schnell genug zertifiziert bekommt - eventuell

Du musst gar nichts rechtsklicken xD Zum herstellen reicht ein einfaches drücken auf die "e" Taste. Vielleicht sollte man sich mit neuen Features erst einmal auseinandersetzen bevor man sich nur darüber beschwert.
Was mir aber auffällt, wenn anstelle von e eine (Maus-) Daumentaste ausgewählt wird, dann kann man klicken bis man grün wird es ändert nichts ... erst wenn man wieder auf die Tastatur zurückändert geht es wieder (zumindest ist das bei mir so :()

Zum Beispiel mit dem Tachy (kletternder Berglöwe) beim fliegen würde ich es wenn dann mit dem Ptereranodon versuchen - oder mit ein paar Land Dinos hin und die Wyvern auslöschen - sollte auch klappen.
Moinsen kann man den irgendwie die Kack UI zurücksetzen das sieht übelst kacke aus und davor war es um einiges besser ... ??? Das Spiel wird seit den letzten Patches so übelst kaputt gemacht und das ist echt Traurig glaube da bin ich nicht der einzigste der so darüber denkt
Wenn ein Modder sich die Zeit nimmt, da gibt es evtl die Möglichkeit die UI wieder auf das (auch schon immer so genannte) Übergangsinterface zurück zu basteln.
Ich hab erst 24xx Stunden und muss sagen die letzten Patches haben mir den Spielspaß zurück gebracht - kein Speed Leveln mehr bei den Flugtieren ist nicht ungebdingt perfekt und ärgerte mich extrem - mit V2 des Nerf bin ich fast perfekt zufrieden gestellt - muss also sagen Vielen Dank für den Nerf - hat mir den Spaß zurück gebracht.

Habe diesen netten Gesellen damit kennnen gelernt, dass ich eine Meldung bekam, mein Boot ist 'gestorben'. Bis ich an meinem Hafen ankam war das zweite Boot auch schon gesunken ... Das Angelbot war zum Glück im flachen Wasser und schwimmt noch weiter.

War eine schnelle Fütterung für den Spino aber leider fehlen jetzt 2 Boote mit 'Geschichte'
War nur überrascht wie nah der an die Küste kommen kann ... Der ist mit Vorsicht zu genießen vor allem auf einem Floß
Die Mods werden nur geprüft, wenn die Option -update-mods gesetzt ist, ansonsten nicht
(über -downloadonly kann man aber das herunterladen z.b. schon eine Stunde vorher erledigen, dass die downtime verringert wird - dazu muss aber das Staging Verzeichnis gesetzt sein - kann man testen, wenn mit großen Mods spielt z.b.)
Normalerweise bin ich ja auch eher ruhig aber das hatte mich vorhin auch kurz sauer gemacht das wenn man nicht der gleichen meinung ist, ist man sofort am jammern. Normalerweise kennt man mich nicht so das ich mich da so aufrege. Für mich ist es leider ein harter Weg weil es mit abstand das beste Spiel war aber wenn sich nichts ändert war es das auch für mich. Ich bin schon den ganzen Tag traurig das ich vielleicht das Spiel aufgebe
Ich finde halt im Singelplayer könnten sie einem doch die Wahl lassen wie man spielen möchte.
Auf der anderen Seite muss man aber WC auch die Zeit geben das richtig zu stellen. Ich vertrau da WC jetzt einfach mal und hoffe alles wird gut
Der letzte Satz ist genau das worauf es jetzt ankommt - es ist gerade Wochenende und auch die Entwickler brauchen mal ein wenig freie Zeit (wobei ich nicht denke das diese gerade Freizeit haben - ingame wird schon auf das nächste Update hingewiesen, von daher erstmal abwarten, sich ärgern und dennoch die Neuerungen mal anschauen bis die nächste Woche vorbei ist bis dahin können wir sehen was WC genau vorhat.
Stimmt Tom, und mit der Einstellung hätte sich da auch nie etwas dran geändert.

Nochmal kurz zu dem Patch - seit mehreren Wochen bin ich wieder für Stunden im Spiel gewesen
Und es macht auch wieder Spass - klar musst ich gerade auch die Nahrungsbeschaffung umstellen (mann haben die Gelenke des Rex geknackt als der wieder an die Luft durfte...)
Am dramatischsten empfinde ich die Größe des Vaults jetzt als passender - allerdings hab ich die Base um die großen Teile herum gebaut ... hier wäre es schön gewesen einen großen Vault mit der alten Größe aber mehr Slots zu bekommen, sodaß die alten Vaults stehen bleiben aber mit nochmal 100 Slots mehr oder so.

Es gibt ein Feintuning (wie immer) und ARK wurde damit weder im PVE noch im PVP zerstört noch gekillt oder sonst was - Einfach noch die nächsten Tage abwarten und eventuell mal ein Feedback an WC geben welches nicht aus 'GEHEULE' besteht damit die Flugtiere wieder etwas angenehmer sind.
Also Wildcard hat schon ein Händchen dafür sachen sinnlos zu patchen, entweder werf ich meine Flug Dinos raus weil sie nicht mehr bringen, oder sie bringen einen Befehl wo man das rückgängig machen kann.
Dann also rauswerfen - fressen sonst nur kostbares Fleisch
Ansonsten einfach mal die nächsten 2 Tage abwarten, wie die Feinjustierung abläuft.
Es gibt Mods die sich der Problematik annehmen, aber auch hier wird es noch bessere Lösungen geben (über ein item den Speed / Stamina Bonus zurückgeben - wäre sogar stackable glaube *hoff* - dazu eventuell noch das nächste Dev Kit Update abwarten) - Zeit ist hier die Lösung - wie immer bei ARK
